Garnished with crunchy carrots, onions and cucumber, fresh coriander, grated coconut, pomegranate seeds and roasted peanuts, it brings together a lovely blend of flavours and textures. Light, comforting and easy to prepare, this traditional favourite is perfect for breakfast, a light lunch or a refreshing evening meal.
Preparation Method:

2. Add fresh curd to the softened avalakki and mix gently until well combined.
3. Mix in chopped onions, cucumber, grated coconut, finely chopped coriander, grated carrot, pomegranate seeds and roasted peanuts.
Season: Add salt to taste and a pinch of chilli powder. You can also add finely chopped green chillies for extra flavour.
